Textures 2: the favourite red gate!

One of the Coleshed Collective has a long term fascination with texture and colour.

The flaking paint on this gate could easily become the inspiration for a piece of art. The colours are subtle and earthy. Looks great against the green of the field beyond.

Then again! If your imagination runs wild, you can just make out the outline of Africa floating down towards Australia amid an ocean of drifting continents on this strange cylindrical world….(too much Absinthe?).

    1. The top pic, if you stand on your head, definitely shows the scattered land masses of the world – probably before they floated together in the present world configuration – that flaking paint has been on that gate a looooong time ……
