Whatever the season. Whatever the weather.
You may be enjoying the bracing wind in your hair and the salt on your lips, as you watch the crashing waves; and yet another day will be marked by dazzling reflections, scudding clouds or serene sunsets.
There is something life-affirming and spirit lifting about standing on the beach. Perhaps it gives a surge of feel good endorphins – whatever the case this certain ranks as one of those special simple pleasures.
