Down at the Pontoon

So I was stood on the pontoon the other evening.

It was the best part of the day. The heat had gone, but the light was wonderful.

The serenity was very relaxing. Still air. Calm, dark waters. Reflections. All under a perfect blue sky. The colourful boats are juxtaposed with the dark water. Different textures and colours.

There was a bloke swimming there that evening. A big chap, in his 70s I think. Cruising through the water in a very casual manner. He looked like he was avoiding being photographed. Fair enough. He was just enjoying the water. I felt quite envious

These photos don’t show a big wet swimmer (hoping you’re not too disappointed!) but hopefully they do convey some of the serenity and tranquility.
